In the winter he is a keen Ski Mountaineer, turning his efforts to the trail in summer. With victory in the 2019 La Diagonale des Fous, he has quickly made a name for himself against the world´s best ultra trail runners. Based in the famous French mountain village of Chamonix, he lives his passions day in day out, also working as a Chef.

Why do you run?

Running gives me the feeling of being free in nature, moving quickly from one mountain peak to another.

When you're not running, what else are you into?

I am working full-time as a Chef in an accredited Restaurant in my home-town of Chamonix, so there leaves little room for a lot more things in my day. But I love to vary and have fun in other sports when I can, doing various things in the high mountains like paragliding and bike riding. I am also a fan of diving and I actually have a certificate as a diving instructor.

What is your best way to recover?

Aside from wearing my Compressport full legs and full socks, I like to get a massage and ensure I stretch regularly. I often go to the spa to relax and I also like to swim in the river. I use it as cryotherapy which really stimulates my recovery after hard efforts.

I really like this brand because it suits me for many things from sports to my day-to-day life.  I use the compression products to recover faster between races and training sessions and also during competition for muscle retention and good blood circulation! What is your favourite product from Compressport and why?

There are two products that I like the most and use for every running session, as well as when I am paragliding and cycling. The first is the 3D Thermo Ultralight Racing hoodie. It keeps you warm and dry in all kinds of weather and with the integrated hood, I feel extra warm and protected from the elements. 

The second would have to be the Hurricane Waterproof 10/10 Jacket. It is the best rain jacket I have ever tried... super compact, protects very well from the wind and most importantly; perfectly waterproof. I never leave home without this jacket now. The outer membrane also keeps you warm as well as dry.
