USE OF PERSONAL DATA
COMPRESSPORT INTERNATIONAL SA primarily uses your personal data for:
• Order management and customer relations
We need your information to manage your orders and any follow-up thereof (for example, deliveries, invoices, accounting and, in particular, the management of customer accounts, management of the loyalty program, monitoring of customer relations such as conducting satisfaction surveys, handling complaints and after-sales service, and selecting customers to participate in studies, surveys and product testing).
• Payment of your orders
When you make a payment on our websites, your payments are secure. COMPRESSPORT INTERNATIONAL SA does not collect your payment details. All your banking details are collected exclusively by our PCI-DSS-certified payment service providers, which ensures payment security.
Payment at the time of purchase
When you pay for an order, the card used for the payment is retained for the time necessary to process the transaction and then for a period of 15 months from the date of payment in order to provide proof of the transaction.
• Personalisation of our services and the messages we send you
The data we hold about you enables us to improve and personalise the services we offer and the communications we send you. For example, we may send you personalised emails or recommend products similar to those you have already purchased or viewed and which correspond to your interests.
• Fraud prevention
The personal data collected on the website is also processed in order to secure payments and deliveries and thereby provide you with an optimal level of service. COMPRESSPORT INTERNATIONAL SA determines the level of fraud risk associated with each order. As part of this analysis, COMPRESSPORT INTERNATIONAL SA may contact specialised risk-prevention service providers to refine its assessment.
• Website security
We collect certain browsing data to ensure the security of our services and to detect, prevent or trace any malicious activity, attempted computer intrusion or breach of the terms of use of our Services.
• Customer insights, statistics and website performance
We may use data to better understand our customers or for statistical purposes, in order to analyse website activity and improve the services we offer. We measure website traffic, including the number of pages viewed, the number of visits to the website, as well as visitor activity and frequency of return.

WHAT COMMUNICATIONS DO WE SEND?
Information and Newsletters
• Service emails
Following an order or as part of the monitoring of a contract, you will receive an email enabling you to track your order or the performance of your contract (order confirmation, information about the delivery of your parcel, etc.). These service messages are necessary for the proper execution of the orders and services you have requested. Receipt of this information is not related to the choices you may have made regarding the receipt of newsletters and commercial offers.
For example: if you are a customer or subscribed to our newsletter, you may receive information about sporting events, special events reserved for customers, etc.
• COMPRESSPORT INTERNATIONAL SA newsletters
Following the creation of your account, and if you have not objected, you may receive information and offers from COMPRESSPORT INTERNATIONAL SA by electronic communication (email, SMS, etc.). These newsletters keep you informed about COMPRESSPORT INTERNATIONAL SA news and the benefits you may receive on products similar to those you have previously ordered or viewed on our websites. We measure the open rate of our electronic communications in order to tailor them as closely as possible to your needs.
• “Partner” newsletters
If you have agreed to receive offers from “partners”, you may receive offers from other companies within the group (e.g. MISTER GOOD DEAL, FRANCE BILLET, etc.) by electronic communication (email, SMS, etc.), as well as from selected commercial partners.
We do not share the information you provide to us with partner companies and you should therefore not receive commercial offers from third-party companies.
• Postal mail
If you have not objected, you may receive offers and information by post.
RETENTION PERIODS FOR PERSONAL DATA
The processing of your personal data is based on different legal grounds depending on how we use the data. Below are the legal bases and retention periods that apply to our main processing activities.
Most data (for example, customer account information and order history) is retained for as long as you remain an “active” customer and for a period of 5 years from your last activity (for example, a purchase, login to your account, or expiry of a contract or warranty). Your data is then archived with restricted access for an additional period for limited purposes permitted by law (payment, warranty, disputes, etc.). After this period, it is deleted.
