Melissa Hauschildt is Back on the Tracks!

At the base of the Blue Mountains in Penrith, New South Wales, that`s where Ironman 70.3 Western Sydney played host to the 2017 edition of the Ironman 70.3 Asia-Pacific Championship.

Ironman Sydney was another occasion for CompressportĀ® team partners to prove that the best compression clothing is a sure key to high performances. Mel Hauschildt was one of them.

2017 Ironman 70.3 Sydney comprised a 1.9 km swim race, followed by a 90 Km biking run and finally a 21 Km run leg tour around the International Regatta Centre of Penrith.

The Best Compression Clothing makes the inconceivable come true!

The past 12 months have indeed been tough on Mel Hauschildt, because of injury. But back on her lands this November 2017, she was determined to blow up!

At the end of the 1.9 Km swim, she was not in the leading pack and had not the best of times. Unruffled, Mel got on her bike, managed the fastest bike split and made it 2nd on the T2. All she had to do from now on was to battle fast and furious especially with such fierce competitors as Felicity Sheedy-Ryan and Amelia Watkinson.

As soon as the whistle went off, Mel managed her run with brio, never letting go of the least stride to competition. At the 5km-to-go mark, she made her final attack and was unreachable all the way to the finish line.

At the end of the day, Mel had stopped the chrono at 4:06:05 and mpiuted on the first step of the podium. Well done, Mel!

In the men`s race the best time attributed to one of Compressport`s partners was Joe Gambles.

Gambles who crossed the finish line at the 5th position.
