It has has always been one of the most highlighted races on the Calendar, but this year brings an even stronger and more motivated field of elite runners. In accordance with local Government approval, the organization has adopted extreme security and preventative measures to ensure the race goes ahead smoothly.
French Compressport Elite Trail Runner Aurélien Dunand-Pallaz will be amongst the list of favorites taking to the start line tonight at 23:00h local time in the 129km / 6,720mD+ classic race.
He will be joined by Compressport Athletes; Julien Chorier and Gediminas Grinius all aiming to achieves something special after this long hiatus from racing.

The 3rd stop on the 2020 Ultra Trail World Tour Calendar, landed once again in Spain´s Canary Islands for the first European race. Always a hotly contested early season test, this year was no different.
The 128km/7,500mD+ course was modified slightly to the previous years, due to the recent wildfires, however the conditions remained quite the same.
While it has been a very different year, with a lack of races and additional limitations towards training, there has been one athlete who has embraced it with optimism. The 27 year old Aurelien Dunand-Pallaz from the South-Eastern French Alps, has seen it as an opportunity to challenge himself.
