Summer cycling means scorching attacks and claiming the brutal hairpins of Alpe d’Huez. Redesigned from top to toe for improved aerodynamic performance and comfort, the brand new Pro Racing Sock Bike brings new levels of support, speed and ventilation to long days in the saddle. Packing all the features of the classic PRS bike into an ultralight package, the new Ultralight model barely moves the scales. Featherweight mesh around the foot and calf provides an unparalleled second-skin feel and exceptional comfort, quickly wicking away sweat and moisture as you put the power down. Ventilation is second-to-none so that feet stay fresh and dry no matter how long you spend in the saddle. The redesigned, wider toe box also offers improved proprioception throughout the pedal stroke, while the signature arch support offers a snug hold and increases blood flow. It also prevents the fabric from twisting and creating hot spots or irritation when the sun beats down. The special Mesh.Dots and Flat.Dots of this ultralight model save on volume and weight but still provide high performance benefits. Reaching halfway up the Achilles tendon, they offer added protection, support and ventilation. Underfoot, a pattern Flat.Dots and Mesh.Dots in equal measure adds grip in the shoe. It also provides gentle micro stimulation to increase venous return and enhances ventilation by increasing airflow between the dots. The sides of the sock feature brand our new Aero.dots from the malleolus to the seam, directing the airflow to reduce turbulence at the rear of the sock and decrease drag as the speed ramps up. The cut, higher than our trail and running models, is designed specifically for cycling performance and aesthetics whilst remaining within UCI limits. The ergonomic tab at the rear of the sock adds a touch of class, with the discipline discreetly embroidered on the inside to remind you that you’ll be riding your bike today.
