Et where else but in Livigno, his natal land… Tadei Pivk has been kept on the sidelines since the beginning of the season due to injury. But his mind fixed on a consecutive win on the Livigno Sky Classic, after the 2016 podium, he registered at the last minute and soon was tipped as one of the favourites!

Willpower, Compression Clothing and Guts

That`s what it takes to brave the highly technical 34Km-race is and reaches 3000 m in altitude and every year attracts the cream of professional sky-runners. Tadei had to battle hard to get rid of Aritz Egea who clung to his heels for most of the race.

Tadei-Pivk-824x400Out of this duel Tadei proved the best as he claimed victory at 3:52:42 and signs in the most fantastic way his most wished comeback. Bravissimo Signor Tadei !

Leanda CAVE – The perennial regular of Ironman® podiums!

im-costa-rica-824x400Guts has she got too, our USA-based triathlete for whom hurdles are meant to be overcome rather than let them have their say! Leanda CAVE literally comes from far to claim victory in Costa Rican Playa del Coco where the inaugural Ironman® 70.3 race was held.

Out of the swim and bike races Leanda was kind of sandwiched between her two ferocious acolytes from the USA who had no intention of letting go of any parcel of the ground!

But when Cave wants, Cave will! At the start of the running part of the event she took charge very early, forced her pace all through and barged her opponents out of her way up to the finish line.

Staffordshire plays host to Ironman® 70.3

While heat is soaring over whole Europe, England offered the perfect conditions and welcomed a flock of the best triathletes for a memorable swim-bike-run contest.

Giulio Molinari and Roman Guillaume ruled over the race and both were never far from each other over the three phases of the game! Guilio took the best of it finishing his race at 4:01:10 after a fantastic run split that left everyone in his wake.

Romain clung to his 2nd place with ferocity and never gave up on it ! He was 2 minutes behind Molinari.

In stealing the show during this third weekend of June, in Costa Rica, Italy and England, Compressport® teammates prove again that compression clothing can be no stranger to strong performances on the tracks!

It seems nothing or no one!

She proved again during the first weekend of this June in Slovakia that 2017 will be her year and her show. Challenge Family, now in the form of a Championship, is a tough competition. Almost the top 10 of the cream of female triathletes responded favorably to the race call.

Like all professional triathletes who came to Samorin, she was there to secure her ticket to The Championship 2017 and she had no intention of letting go although she confessed that she envisaged almost pulling out of the race, early in the morning.

Lucy CHARLES began the competition with the fastest exit from the 1.9 Km swim run, coming out of the water with a 25 seconds lead over Annabelle Luxford. On the bike, things got a little bit complicated for Lucy as Luxford took the lead and held all the other contenders at more than a wheel`s pace. On her bike, Lucy crossed the finish line at the fourth place.

Lucy could have then said to herself that “mass was said!” … But it seems IMPOSSIBLE is not BRITISH for our partner. Her Compressport® R2V2 sleeves on her calves, she began her last 21.1 Km run slowly but surely, letting her country fellow Kimberly Morrison take the lead, soon caught up by Luxford.

And bursting out from behind, Lucy Charles steals the lead in the final kilometer and was never overtaken.

  Overall Race Time: 4:13:59

Lucy CHARLES`s rule seems unchallenged over the 2017 Triathlon Season.

His preparations during winter seem to have paid off as French Aurélien DUNAND-PALLAZ grasps the silver medal on the Ultra Skymarathon of Madeira.

AurC?lien Dunand PallazOn the relentless terrain of ups and downs our French partner had a fantastic start, keeping the lead until they crested the summit. The terrain began to roll and the specialist, obstacle World Champion Jon Albon was more than happy to show his effectiveness on such tracks. He overtook everyone and never let go of his immense lead as he headed to the finish line in a record time.

Aurélien managed to hold on to his 2nd place aggressively and in full control and even found the way to break an old course record in 5:55:30.

Scotty HawkerScotty HAWKER comes 4th at the Cerdanya Maratnon held in the Pyrenees Mountains on Saturday 03 June 2017. The New Zealander was in the lead pack during the majority of the race. He fell just out of the podium. A good sign before he undertakes the Lavaredo Ultra Trail.

Our Italian partners Guilio MOLINARI and Marta BERNADI were no disappointment on the Long Distance Italian Triathlon Championships.

Guilio-MolinariFrom the start whistle they never looked back and crossed the finish line first in their respective race.

Marta BENARDI finished her race at 4:36:39
